Care & Maintenance

Cleaning

Clean with water and a soft cloth. Avoid bleach, high-pressure cleaners and hard brushes, which can damage the finish. Applying an automotive wax to a clean planter helps protect the finish.

Winter care

Store plant and pot somewhere dry and sheltered where possible. Planters left outdoors need a drainage hole, and saucers should be removed or turned over so water cannot freeze and expand.

Drainage & soil

Drainage holes are not pre-drilled unless requested when ordering. Use a potting mix made for containers; heavy soil and sand hold water and can strain the walls of large planters.
